Temas de Investigación

Hidrógeno y celdas de combustible. Síntesis de materiales nano-catalizadores. Caracterización morfológica y estructural de los materiales sintetizados usando técnicas de microscopía electrónica de barrido, SEM, de transmisión, TEM, difracción de rayos X en polvos, XRD y de composición química, EDS. Estudios de la cinética electrocatalítica de la reducción de oxígeno en medio ácido. Estudio del desempeño de celdas de combustible con membrana polimérica, PEMFC, prepados de ensambles con  electrocatalizadores propios como cátodos y platino nanométrico como ánodos. Diseño y construcción de prototipos de baja potencia con celdas de combustible PEM.
